great spot for walking and local dining experiences
I loved the easy stroll to nearby attractions like the historic Cartmel Priory, just a short walk away, and the delicious breakfasts prepared by the friendly owner made for a delightful start to my day. As a solo traveler, I found the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and it was great to have the Gretna Bakery just down the street for quick snacks and treats during my city explorations.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, with a great selection of complimentary tea and coffee options in the room, along with a wonderfully clean bathroom that made my stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Don’t have any issues at all.

the street noise from the pub nearby was kinda annoying at night. also, it was a bit confusing to find at first.

Fantastic for cyclists!
We stayed here after a long cycle from Maryport, and I gotta say, the room was spotless—one of the best I've hit up while touring. The massive bathroom with a power shower was a lifesaver! They even whipped up sandwiches for our early start, which was super thoughtful. Only thing was the noise from the restaurant below could get a bit much.

Charming and Comfortable Stay
We spent a night here and were pleasantly surprised by the unique decor and comfort of our room. The en suite bathroom, complete with both a bath and a separate power shower, added a layer of luxury. Plus, the breakfast options were excellent, with local produce that truly set the day off right. The only downside was the restaurant's cooking smell wafting into our room, but it didn't detract significantly from our overall experience.

Smart choice for a city trip in Longtown with great value-to-price ratio. The room was stylish, and I appreciated the choice of biscuits with the coffee. Tip, Bring your own snacks as the cafe is busy at peak times.
